One of the many reasons I’m finding seminary a wonderful place to call home: surprise “just because” treats from new friends. Even before I met her, my lady pal Brynn has offered up some kind words and gluten-free gifts to make me feel welcomed. Hence, daffodil + gf anise cookies. I happened to be craving anise post-lunch. She must have read my mind—although, anise cookies are a new phenomena to me! Yum.
